National Achievement Semi-Finalist Guaranteed Scholarships?

Please add to this thread if you find out about guaranteed scholarships for NA Semi Finalist. It will help us all think about where to apply (early, in some cases) while working toward finalist.

I was told about this one and will share:

University of Alabama:
As a National Merit or Achievement Semifinalist, once you are admitted to UA with a 3.5 cumulative GPA, we will offer you a Presidential Scholarship, which pays the value of tuition for four years or eight semesters. You must be admitted by Dec. 15 of your senior year in high school to receive this award.

Others??? I have heard FAMU and Howard, but have not looked into those yet to verify.

hsgrad.

Below is a link. You will need to do the groundwork. Rule of thumb, NA is usually embedded in Natl Merit. You may also need to call the schools directly as schools tend to change their offerings each year.

I know of a particular school that gave a certain amount during one of my kid’s application year and for the other kid’s year, they no longer offered it.

Thanks learninginprog…will start making time to dig through this and see what is out there. My dad actually probably would be glad to do it. He is loving the thought of scholarships…and he feels a bit badly that I am stretch so thin right now doing apps, essays, school work, sports, etc.
Siblings under me so $ have to be factored into choices around here!

UT Dallas has NA scholarship

You are welcome HS Grad. The research should be a fun thing for your Dad. I sent you a PM.

It looks like Juniata in Pa has a full tuition scholarship for NA finalists.

Thanks Wescap. That is ture they do offer full tuition. However, it appears they only award four each year and this is based on an interview.
