National AP Scholar

You need to take at least 8 tests with an 4.0 average and no score less than a 4 to get this award. Tests like Enviromental Science and Human Geography are based on 1 semester courses. Do they still count as a full test towards the award (i.e. as much as Chemistry or any other 2 semester course)? If so, couldn't you take 8 of those and technically have done half the work?

Hmmm... you need to maintain an average >4, scoring 4 on at least eight of them, meaning that you can, in fact, score less than a four and still make National AP Scholar.

As far as I know, all AP exams are equal.

yeah, every ap test counts equally, but you can't count subscores. for instance, if you took calc bc, you can only count calc bc, not the calc ab subscore.
