<p>Would you not qulaify if you get a '3' in one or two AP Exams? It is little daunting though.</p>

<p>I think getting a ‘3’ still qualifies since you pass. It has to be 3 or above.</p>

<p>Your average of all your tests has to be 4 or higher, so a 3 can be combated with a 5. So even if you get a 3, you can still be one.</p>

<p>You could still qualify but it won’t count for the 8 you need - you need to have an average of 4 or higher, which you can still do, but you also need 8 with scores of 4+</p>

<p>Now let’s say you took 10 APs, and in 9 of those 10 you got solid 5s and some 4s. However, in one of the tests, you got a 2 or a 1.</p>

<p>Your score average would still be above a 4, you would still have 9 APs that got a score above a 4, but you got a single score of less than 3. Would you still be eligible for the award?</p>
