So by the end of junior year, i will only have taken 4 AP classes, which is more than the majority of students at my school. I was planning on retaking one of my AP tests to raise it, but will both scores (from last year and this year) be calculated into eligibility for the National AP Scholar Award?

Also, I was thinking of self-studying around 3 more subjects to see if I can get the AP Scholar Award. Is it worth it? Or is it not counted that heavily in college admissions (other than just having an individual sense of having earned it)?
