National buckeye award

I was accepted into ohio state about 2 weeks ago. I am out of state and scored a 27 on my ACT. My GPA was 86 on a 100 scale. Am I going to recieve the buckeye award for sure because of my ACT? It says 26+ on the site, but I dont know if ACT is all that matters. Also, If I am going to recieve the award, about how long do they take to let you know?

Congrats on your acceptance.
To answer your question.. Im OOS too and they let you know about a month later after acceptance. I pretty sure you get it since you qualify but OSU already given out alot of scholarships so you never know for sure.

The scholarship deadline was 12/1. If your app was in by then, they'll follow the scholarship guidelines on the website.

You still get scholarships even if you applied after the 12/1 deadline. It just that some scholarships are for lesser amounts. I pretty sure that the national buckeye award retains the same value. I got one and it was the same value listed on the website. And I applied like on 1/3....

I got a 26 on the act and got in, do you think I will get any scholarships i am out of state?

I got accepted a few weeks ago and I got the scholarship notice today. 1260/1790 on SAT.

Just wondering, is it worthwhile to fill out the special scholarships application for out-of-state students? Is there any chance of receiving a scholarship?

my son is from out of state and recieved nothing from it,but always apply it can't hurt.he's a freshmen now ,and i'm insisting that he apply again this year for it.

How did he afford it? loans? How much money in loans did he have to borrow?

he recieved the morrill scholarship, and the trustees.the total amounted to full out of state tution.we take care of his half of his room and board, and he works over the summer.there are also plenty of jobs on campus

How were you guys notified of your scholarship awards? By mail or by email?

national buckeye, trustees by mail, morrill by e-mail in march

Thanks! Just got the mail today and I found it =)
