National Competitions that AREN'T Science-Related?

I see all these national competitions (Siemens-Westinghouse....and some more I can't remember) that all revolve around science. I haaate science. What are some similar national competitions in other subject areas? Do you know what I mean?

I'm desperate. Not that I'd make it to the top, but I'd like to enter something.

You can do humanities research and enter it into the Junior Science and Humanities Symposum. I think that's what it's called.

i concur with arctic monkey
too much science

I don't think the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium has anything to do with humanities...

From JSHS's website:

[quote]
The Junior Science and Humanities Symposia (JSHS) Program invites high school students to conduct an original research investigation in the sciences, engineering, or mathematics, and to participate in a regional symposium sponsored by universities or other academic institutions.
