I see on the UC website that they award the Cincinnatus Distinction Scholarship to both National Merit Finalists and National Hispanic Scholars. The website states, “A maximum of 60 Cincinnatus Distinction awards are offered annually; awards will be made in the order of receipt to Finalists who complete all the Steps to Becoming a Cincinnatus Distinction Scholar”. I’m wondering if anyone who has applied for this not been awarded the scholarship? I’m assuming the earlier you submit, the better your chances? Trying to gauge the competitiveness.
