<p>I just recently received mail from National Honor Roll. I have heard that it is a scam. Should I ignore their mail asking to put me in their facebook, etc? Would putting this on your college application impress admission officers, or will they just laugh at you?</p>

<p>National Honor Roll is just commercial advertisement, and the organization receives profit off of these students. And putting this wn't impress admission officers. Thousands of people get these every year.</p>
<p>Yeah I got the invitation too, they said they'd send the formal application in a few days. . i guess it's a scam also.</p>
