<p>I got the letter last week but still don't know what to do with it? Should I send in my bio? I don't think it really help since I'm a senior now; the publishing of my stat in the summer won't really affect colleges' decision now. So may be I should not send it in? Is this a scam for money? Has anybody else receive this? How hard is it to make it in the scholarship thing they mentioned?</p>
<p>It won't affect colleges decision in anyway. A couple of years ago I posted a question about it on a forum somewhere with a college admit counseller and she said all those books (NHS,who's who etc) were not of any interest to colleges 'cause so many people get invites. It is a scam of sorts though someone did post a while back that they got one of the scholarships. If you do it just send the info but don't pay any money out.</p>
<p>FWIW, My D got a national honor roll letter as a freshman before she received here first report card. I don't know if that makes it a scam, but it sure seems like a for-profit venture.</p>
