<p>I submitted my Early Decision application a few weeks ago, and our school just sent out acceptance letters for our school’s National Honor Society, and I’m a new member this year. Is this an acceptance that I should somehow notify the admissions office about, or just leave it alone?</p>
<p>This is a common enough honor that I don’t think it would really help to make special mention of it. Granted I have no anecdotal evidence to support that, but its just my two cents.</p>

<p>I think that my other ECs better described my passions/personality more thoroughly anyways–if I had gotten into NHS earlier I probably would have still left it out.</p>
