National Honors Scholarship?

<p>I read on the website about the National Honors Scholarship, and recipients are picked from those who receive the Regents scholarship. I was wondering when students are notified that they got the national honors scholarship, is it at the time of acceptance or later on?</p>

I know this is really old but I received a regents scholarship and then a month or so later got a letter in the mail that I got a full tuition National Honors Scholarship for anyone interested in the info.
