National Merit and PSAT

So I am a national merit semifinalist from North Dakota, who got a 203 on the PSAT.
I got a 2160 on the SAT, and I sent in. Once I am a semi-finalist, do they look at my PSAT score again, which was comparatively low, or am I "over the hump", and will the finalist competition be based on my SAT, grades, essay, and other materials. Thank you.

@V7KVbU…Your PSAT score will have no impact on whether or not you reach Finalist status. As you guessed, progression to Finalist will be dependent on your SAT score, transcript, essay, and HS letter of recommendation. Of those items, grades are generally the item that trips up Semifinalists who fully submit their application package. The only other area where your PSAT score might possibly come into play is during consideration for which Finalists are awarded the one-time $2500 scholarships, but no one is certain exactly what factors are looked at or how they’re weighted for those awards.

What ^ said. Congrats on your scores.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.
