@delilahxc Are you sure that 7 wrong on the math was a 35? I also took in on October 14th and missed 7 questions on Math, but my subscore was a 36.
son missed 4 on reading and got 36 with 99percentile 10/14 test
-3 wrong for reading is 37 on 10/14
I just rechecked. My error. 7 wrong in math. 2 omitted.
(though he swears he didn’t omit any)
Since there is no penalty for wrong vs. omitted, people should just report the total wrong plus omitted.
@aron1226 our school teacher said this year the full score is 228. Hence 217/228 is very high. This also means that your DD’s score improved from last year (where full score was 240).
I think you’re in. There were only 228 questions this year, compared to 240 last year.
The concordance doesn’t really make sense. There are fewer questions this year, so the same selection index score implies a much higher percentage of questions answered correctly.
So:
Will a 1470, 221 SI make semifinalist in California?
Oct. 14 test… 9 wrong in math was a 35.
That makes sense
-12 in reading is a 32
