<p>Also, since it says "about" 500 words, is it okay if mine is 630 words? And... does the essay HAVE to be attached with "nonglare tape"? My counselor (hasn't done NMSF applications before) attached the recommendation with a glue stick...</p>

<p>Just put some tape around it to fool them. I doubt they'll peel it off to inspect for glue.</p>
<p>Who knows? Maybe they have some kind of sophisticated scanner that burns up glue.</p>
