Tried skimming through old posts & can’t find the info. When will this year’s NMSFs start receiving notification they did not reach Finalist? ( when do I start frantically checking the mailbox before DD gets to it!) When will schools be notified of their Finalists? Need help from our experienced pros!
NMCorp sends out rejection letters around Jan 6th. So if you don’t receive anything by about Jan 17, you’re probably fine.
Schools are notified towards the beginning of Feb
@floridamomof3 Go to page 4 of the document at the link below for the calendar. The first group out that will not move forward will be those that did not submit a confirming SAT score by 12/31. Those would be the letters received around Jan 6th. An actual letter affirmatively stating the NMSF is a finalist looks to be coming mid-February based on the schedule on page .
It’s is unlikely that rejection letters would be received by Jan 6th. They go out around that time.
