<p>You could fax a copy to the colleges you have applied to.</p>
<p>Since your counselor doesn’t seem to know much about the National Merit program, make sure you carefully read over the material in the folder you were sent earlier, so you understand how to go about naming a first choice school, and what the deadlines are for doing that.</p>
<p>There is a phone number in the packet, and they are very helpful when you call them with questions.</p>
