National Merit Finalists

Hm. I got the ASU letter a few days ago but didn’t bother really looking at it. I just opened it and it appears to be the same thing as what you’re all talking about, so I suppose that’s good news, despite my lack of interest in ASU.

*Does anyone know how students who accepted the deal offered in previous years are faring? Did their scholarship amounts stay at $23k or did they drop to $17k? *

I don’t know about ASU in particular, but once a student accepts a multi-year scholarship, those terms cannot be lowered later - unless the student doesn’t maintain GPA/credits, etc.

The scholarship offer is like a contract.

For instance, my boys’ tuition scholarships covers 17 credits per semester. Future students’ scholarships will now only cover 16. My boys’ scholarships cannot be lowered.

My son just got a call from the principal saying he’d just opened the NMF certificate. Woohoo! Praise God!!! We’re in Kansas. Good luck to all of you.

Got a letter from University of Oklahoma detailing a 90K scholarship for NMFs.

We got the same OU letter today. Perhaps that means you’ll get your NMF news very soon since we got our news today.
Good Luck.
