So I am from Ohio, I got a national 99%tile on both sections. Is my state normally above the curve or below it? Can a sleep at night relatively confident that I will be a NMS? Also whats a selections score and where do i find it? thanks!
Search the records for Ohio. What was your number? There should be a score on you paper.
@guy1234 the selection index can be accessed online when you login to CB and get your score. Look at the top menu and you’ll find the link. If you can’t access your online account then just take your ER&W score, multiply by 2, and add the math. Divide by 10 to get the final answer.
For example: Total Score 1470; EWR = 730, Math = 740. SI would then be [(730X2) + 740] / 10 = 220.
The most recent preliminary cut-off predictions were released by Testmasters the other day (see link below). Magic number for OH is 215. Again, these are PRELIMINARY. These predictions will be updated once the final concordance tables are released by CB in May. I’m sure there will be other predictions - for instance, many on the CC forums are analyzing this subject in depth.
