Does anyone know what happens if a student is awarded a corporate sponsored or the one time $2500 NM scholarship? Does that affect the NM scholarships that A&M is offering? I read that you can only get one NM scholarship but am assuming that they wouldn’t be cut off from the more generous A&M scholarship because they got offered another one but really don’t know how it works. Is the a&m scholarship a true NM school sponsored award or is it outside of the NM organization?
My daughter (class of 18) received a corporate NM scholarship as well as the A&M Presidents Endowed (which is what they typically give NMFs) and several departmental scholarships. A&M lets you stack the scholarships and doesn’t penalize you for getting scholarships from other sources.
