Okay, here's a question for all of you National Merit Semifinalists who haven't completely lost your minds and/or organizational skills like, ahem, some of us sheepishness:

According to your NMSF packet, what does it say about submitting SAT scores? I know that semifinalists were allowed to take the SAT in October, but what about November.. was that allowed also? I have somehow misplaced my packet but I figured that I would get a quick, hopefully accurate response here. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Yes, it is allowed for the November test date. However, the December test date was acceptable, but the packet said there were no guarantees it would reach the the NMSC in time.

Thank you for replying, collegebound! That makes me feel a lot better.

I didn't check to confirm this, but i believe it was oct. 2002-nov. 2004

Is there special paperwork to submit the SAT score?

no. you send the scores to the national merit corp. the same as you do any college.

Does anyone the exact date? My son just went to the collegeboard site and sent his scores - regular way. Should he go back and send them rush?
