National Merit Scholarship 2018 Deadline

Hey y’all, I just finished my application for NMS and sent it off to my school official with the “Finalize” button. Everywhere I’ve looked says that the application needs to be “submitted by October 10th”. Does anyone know what time, exactly, they stop accepting applications? I’m a bit worried because I don’t know if “submitted by October 10th” implies 11:59pm on Oct. 10 or 11:59pm on Oct. 9.

I believe it is before Midnight Central Time on Oct 10th. Hopefully, your school has their portion ready to go and can hit submit today, but I think NM is more forgiving of the school portion being a little late than your portion.
