National Merit Scholarship Received by School?

Hi! I’m part of the Class of 2020 and will be starting college this fall. I am a national merit scholar, but my scholarship ($2500) has not yet been received by the school. Does anyone have any information on when this scholarship will be sent out? I can’t seem to find anything online…

Not sure if that is the case, but there is a rule at my D’s school that restricts the dispense of scholarship within certain days before the school year. So you may receive the notice, but the money would not be sent until within that time frame.

The money from National Merit doesn’t post on my daughter’s account until October. Not sure if it takes that long to receive the money or for the school to update the account. Her financial aid office told us to just ignore the autogenerated bills and it’s always been handled eventually. Check with your school.

The money that goes thru NMCorp will not show up for at least another month or two.
