<p>If I were to be a National Merit Scholar (I am not, I am a sophomore), and I won the $2500, would it only be applicable as a scholarship if I applied to a school in the US, or could it also be applied to any international school?</p>

<p>Or, is it not even a scholarship, is it just a $2,500 prize?</p>

<p>It’s a scholarship - it gets paid to the school not to you (although the school may just give it to you after that.) And the school has to be US and accredited.</p>
