National Merit Scholarships

I just got back from a visit to USC and they said if I was a National Merit Scholar and designated USC as my first choice on the form I would a half tuition award. What other schools give away awards for being designated first choice by National Merit Scholars?

i know Rice gives some good Money and Iowa State

A LOT of schools give away awards. From what I've heard, USC is the highest-ranked school that gives away such a large scholarship to NMFs. Most top schools give around $750-$2,000 per year, subject to financial need.

The National Merit® Scholarship Program is an academic competition for recognition and scholarships that began in 1955. High school students enter the National Merit Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®)— a test which serves as an initial screen of approximately 1.3 million entrants each year — and by meeting published program entry/participation requirements.
