<p>Does anybody know what the cutoff will be for National Merit semifinalist status in Oregon? I've heard it said that it may be higher next year, since last fall was the first issuing of the new PSAT.</p>
<p>Why would it be higher for the new PSAT? It would be logical that it would be lower.</p>
<p>However, it won't be lower. SOme states will go up while others will go down. I'm confident that more states will go down this time than last year (three did last year). ANyways, Oregon's will probably be 214-215. Hope this helps.</p>
