national merit

Any idea if FSU gives extra scholarships to National Merit/ Achievement scholars? If so how much?

THE FSU SCHOLARSHIP FAQ SAYS:
The Office of Admissions offers a limited number of scholarships to National Merit Finalists, National Achievement Finalists, and National Hispanic Scholars. Please contact our office for more information.

I assume it will be more than the Freshmen University Scholarship which is $1200 per semester.

wow, that is an insane scholarship from USF. I had no idea you could get that much stuff. I have a hard time believing FSU would give that much though. That seems to be on the high end of the spectrum. Plus FSU would probably advertise perks like that a little better if thats what they were giving out.

I agree. I doubt any of the other state schools in Florida gives such a generous package that is why I was pointing it out to you.

In case anyone was wondering, I emailed the admissions office and they told me that if they were to give me a scholarship for being a Merit Scholar of any kind it would be for $6000 a year ($24,000)

$6K per year is rather nice. :)
