National Merit

I guess this is more of a general question, but since you Grinnell folks are so knowledgeable I figured you could still help me out!

Today I officially signed my letter of intent for Grinnell (yay!) and remembered that they have a National Merit scholarship. So I pulled out my old semifinalist packet, fished out the College Choice card, and began to fill it out... until it asked for "Semifinalist ID #" and "Selection Unit #." I have NO IDEA what mine are, and it looks like this information was on the application they gave me, which I turned in months ago. (Apparently I was supposed to copy this info down somewhere safe, but I didn't.)

If I call the National Merit people, will they be able to give me my Semifinalist ID # and Selection Unit #? Are these #'s somewhere else in the packet that I'm overlooking? Have I screwed myself out of that extra $2000???

Hope someone can help!

Send them an email or give them a call. Should be no problem at all.

They are incredibly helpful and they always have a real person (not a recording) answer the phone and connect you to another real person if you call during office hours. They are in IL, so their office hours are on Central Time. This will be easy. I know you will love Grinnell!

Thanks guys! I just called and it was no trouble at all.
