<p>Anyone have any information about when the finalists are selected? i know like 40 people get to go, but has anyone received any information about it yet?</p>
<p>Seems like those invitations go out pretty soon. Can't remember when my S got his.</p>

<p>I'm not sure when they did the selection, but I randomly looked at the link above today.</p>
<p>Just checked and the list of 2009 Finalists has been posted on the CU National Scholar's web site so the invitations have already been sent.</p>
<p>ok so i looked at the link and it seems that 24 finalists seems relatively low for the weekend. i thought that they invited like 40 people?! and like 2/3rds of them are from SC! i thought that roughly 50% were from out of state. it just seems strange to me.</p>
<p>I looked at the list, and it's 50/50 in state vs. out...and my guess would be that this program (and clemosn's scholarships in general) are probably feeling a pinch from the economy this year, which is why the smaller #?</p>
