<p>I just got a letter inviting me to join the National Society of High School Scholars. I was wondering how good it looks on a college app. Is it worth the $60?</p>
<p>NSHSS is kind of a joke. It’s requirements to join are very low and of course all you have to pay is a small fee to be a member of it. It’s not really anything special and doesn’t really count for anything on a college app. NHS is a better scholar-volunteering organization.</p>
