<p>so i received a letter from the National Society of High School Scholars in the mail today asking me to join their society. It claims to only recruit top academic students with over 3.5 gpa.</p>

<p>I dont mind paying the membership fee. i just want to know whether faxing in this invitation to the schools i applied to would help me in any way in the application process this late in the game.</p>

<p>has anyone received this invitation? is this legit? does it help at all in college admissions??</p>

<p>You can search this forum and you will almost always find a wealth of information that goes back years on most subjects. A quick search on National Society of High School Scholars will tell you that many are invited and most in the know think it might impress your Mom but thats about it.</p>
