I'm a junior, so I'm still just looking around at colleges. I'm not asking for chances (though it's certainly at least a mid-reach for me lol); I'd just like to know more about student life, student culture, how intense the courseload is, and how good the engineering program is at the university (relative to, say, MIT, Carnegie Mellon, UIllinois, etc.) However, I'm well aware that NUS is an excellent institution to begin with.

I also have a question about applying to NUS as an international student - their website says that "For the SAT Subject Tests, the 3 subjects can be taken in no more than two sittings, but within the period of one year." Does that mean that all the subject tests must be taken within the same year, or that the two sittings must be within one year, or that you can't take the tests more than two sittings in one year? lol

Furthermore, since if I apply I'd probably be applying for engineering that's... not super chemistry-related engineering XD what subject tests should I take aside from Physics and the required Math II? Should I still take chemistry? I already have biology so it'd be great if I didn't have to do another test.

Thanks a ton in advance!
