native american population in cornell

The NA thing at Dartmouth was because of a cowboy and Indian party and in my opinion the administration did a tremendous job handling the matter. Truth be told most Ivy campuses tend to be very "protest" oriented (which is a good thing perhaps) and you'll happenings like things like these at all the Ivies (ex. Columbia's year long protests about graduate student pay, etc).

Anyway, the NA population at Dartmouth is about 4%, there is a Native American Studies program and major (the only one among the Ivies), the "NAD" house which supports a lot of native focused activity. Also, many Native American focused events like the pow-wow" (a huge event) are college sponsored. I think its the best Ivy in terms of Native American community.
