Hey! I'm a Native American who does very well academically and is very interested in Dartmouth. My question is, what exactly is required to apply as a Native American to Dartmouth and other universities?

Merci beaucoup!

Merci beaucoup!

Just check in Native American on the application sheet and try to include it in your college essay.

Some schools require documentation indicating your tribal affiliation.

Some universities will ask you your race. But i think Dartmouth belongs to an Ivy League. I think the most important are GPA with 4.0 and your Test score. Essays are also important.

The Ivy League schools ask applicants their races as well. This category may be omitted, though.

A 4.0 GPA is not required.

Yes. 4.0 is not required but you will get a better chance if you get 4.0

As opposed to a lower GPA? Well sure.

Luckily I have a 4.0/6.0! So, yeah, I hope it helps! Thanks you guys!

Out of 6.7?

Oops I typed it incorrectly the first time. I meant 6.0. And no, like 4.0 unweighted, and 6.0 weighted.

That puts you in good shape, assuming everything else is solid.
