So, Natural Science doesn't have to have an UGS? Here's what UT says about UGS:

First-year students in the following academic units are required to take UGS 302 or 303:

* School of Architecture
* McCombs School of Business
* College of Communication
* College of Education
* Jackson School of Geosciences
* College of Liberal Arts
* School of Nursing

Xcell that’s probably because you started college before it came into effect - pretty sure it’s the 2010-2012 catalog that requires it, so if you started college before this year you can use a previous catalog’s requirements to graduate.

I know that, but I think you can pick and choose which catalog you want to graduate under can you? But yeah, I know I’m picking the one w/o UGS.

Haven’t been around so catching up on posts - the choosing previous catalogs only works for transfers. Incoming freshman have to use the catalog in effect when they start but they can switch to subsequent catalogs if they really want.
