<p>I am slightly confused about how Naviance's letters work with the Common App (my parents and my guidance counselors are not very much help so I am a little blind here.) My school uses Naviance, which means my counselor and teachers simply write traditional letters and upload them to the website which then syncs with the Common App. However, two of the schools I am looking at - NYU and Emerson - require Secondary School Reports and Teacher Evaluation forms - which seem to just be forms that ask for similar information. Will these schools not accept my current recommendations letters as acceptable alternates, even though the Common Application allows them to be synced up from Naviance? Do I need to have my teachers/counselor fill out these separate specific forms as well and prevent the other letters they wrote from being sent in with my application? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am extremely confused and I emailed both of the schools and neither has responded so I am getting a little antsy. Thanks</p>
