Navy SEAP 2015

Hey guys, anyone apply?

Also, I saw in the 2011 thread that someone recommended sending additional materials - what kind of thing would that be exactly?

P.S. Any idea when decisions come out?

Yes I applied. According to the 2014 thread, applications were due 1/6 and the first person said they heard back on 3/7, so roughly 2 months from now I suspect.

@HSscience are you going to submit additional materials? By the sounds of previous threads people sent in more essays or SAT scores?

does each lab have its own admissions process or do all the applications get reviewed at once? which labs did you guys apply to?

@ovonwts I applied to the Naval Medical Research Center and the Radiobiology Lab, and based upon previous posts I think it depends on each location and they can vary in response date.

bump

My son applied to navy ROTC in nov 2014. We haven’t heard anything yet but it’s still early. Has anyone heard yet??

His stats are 1350 SAT (CR/M) and 3.7 GPA. He wants to study engineering.

We didn’t really consider sending additional materials. I know my son is probably borderline for a scholarship as they are very competitive. Good luck to all who have applied!!!

Got an interview tomorrow.

Good luck on the interview!

@wjlkwestkdashian Good luck! Out of curiosity, what lab is this?

@literatechild‌ Rather not say for privacy reasons (this lab only takes 2 interns), but I can say that I landed the position.

I’m hoping to hear back from some other choices as well though.

Have you all already heard back from them?

@glax123 I haven’t heard anything from either lab I applied to, but on previous threads it says most interviews and things are conducted between January and March but SEAP is kind of known for really late rejection emails.

Got an interview, and did the interview. I think I did well. About how long is the process?

Not sure about how long it takes, maybe we will get results at the end of March (just guessing)? Also, do you guys know if everyone gets an interview or if it is just a few select individuals?

Did they call or email you, to let you know you got an interview?

On Dec 19th, our Fall grades were not yet on the transcript. Should we submit them now? Is that possible?
