<p>For all Navy fans out there, thought you might like to get a glimpse at some of the spirit spots that are being shown at the home football games on the jumbotron. Midshipmen make these "motivational type commercials or stories" and submit them for review to the proper people. (I don't really know who that is) If they are approved and chosen, they are shown during time outs, half time or end of the quarter during home games. The whole concept of a "spirit spot" is to motivate the brigade in cheering on the football team to a win.</p>

<p>12th Company has been making spirit spots this year based on the drama series "24". (which is a huge rave at USNA right now..practically a cult following) Their version "12" is a parody of the series "24" and includes similiar characters, similiar story line, similiar action, and similiar camera angles. What "24" does in 1 hour "12" has to do in about 60 seconds so it is basically just one giant action sequence.</p>

<p>One of the conspirators in the making of these spirit spots, has recently posted them to a server on the web where anyone can access and watch them. I thought you Navy fans out there would enjoy seeing what mids are doing in their spare time ("spare time"...right) There are also several very famous spirit spots from years gone by including the lego men and blinging in SDBs. If you search around for navy spirit spots you should have a pretty good laugh and be highly motivated.</p>
