NB SAS Honors Program Housing

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone could explain to me how the Rutgers NB Honors Program housing works?

Hello? Anyone?

Hey! I lived in honors housing in New Brunswick for 2 years (Brett Hall, College Ave). The housing application should appear on the enrollment pathway any day now, like within the next week. You will just have to let them know that you would like to live in honors housing, there should be a box you can check or something. You still go about ranking the campuses on which you would like to live. Brett Hall is the honors dorm on the urban College Ave campus. It’s facilities are very standard but you just can’t beat it for the social vibe. The McCormick suites on Busch are really nice from what I hear, and offer special appeal to students studying the sciences. Jameson Hall on Douglass is only for women; it is peaceful, beautiful, and quiet. I’m not exactly sure where honors students live on Livingston, I believe it is in a specific house within the quad.

Oh okay. I have heard a lot of positive things about Brent Hall and McCormick. I kind of somewhere in between completely introverted and a “party goer”. I do like to go out from time to time but I also have no problem staying home or just spending time with friends at my house. Which dorm do you think would be better suited for me?

hey i am pretty much the same as you. i go out from time to time but i do enjoy spending time with some friends in the dorm. I live in mccormick and i think its pretty cool. Brett is the typical college dorm with communal bathrooms etc. everyone is pretty friendly with their whole floor. mccormick is a suite, so you have to try a little harder to make friends. I am really close with all the guys in my suite, but i only know a few people in the building. but that’s just me, my roommate pretty much knows everyone in the building lol. i like the suite situation better because you have your own bathroom and living room, i thought that was pretty cool. Busch campus as a whole is more studious and not too many parties are found, but there are a lot of people who go out on the weekends and you can make a lot of friends.
