Discuss any thoughts about which teams have advanced/not-advanced. Who are your picks for the semi-conference finals? Conference finals? NBA finals? Feel free to rant too and remember to criticize others' opinions in regards to answering the above questions.

Oh and talk crap about Chuck if you're from the Bay (especially Sausalito).

i want either the warriors or the suns to win the championship...mostly the warriors though because i really enjoy watching them play...I think everyone in the country including ESPN is in love with the warriors they already have the greatest success story in years

I joined the Warriors bandwagon when the Jazz took out the Rockets.

But the Bulls have been my team since the early 90s, even through the Brand-Jay Will-Curry/Chandler years. All I know is Scott Skiles needs to get:
Hinrich, Gordon, Deng, Thomas and Wallace on the court at the same time. Keep Hinrich on Billups, keep Gordon on Rip (switch off if Ben cools down with Duhon), let Deng keep with Tayshaun, and let Ty Thomas wear out 'Sheed. Once 'Sheed gets too tired, they'll have to plug in Antonio McD. who is a defensive liability.

As long as Gordon and Hinrich can keep Billups and Rip out of the lane (because Webber will keep Big Ben drifting), the Bulls will be fine. They need to start playing with some passion too =)

had houston won they would have played golden state and chances are very high that golden state would have won because yao cant keep up with the warriors

Start Gordon? If the Bulls have any chance in this series, they need to use Gordon off the bench - that's when they were most effective in the regular season anyway. When he's the sixth man, Gordon gives the Bulls a nice change of pace guard. He's a shooter, not a defender. In order to win this series, the Bulls have to pay attention to defense. Duhon needs to guard Rip; he's quicker than Gordon. DET loves running the curl because Hamilton is such a tireless sprinter. Duhon's physical enough to run through screens and, more importantly, he's more conditioned to keep up with Rip and contest shots. Granted, Gordon's taller but putting a big body on Rip is actually a disadvantage because of Rip's quickness. Even Sefolosha's a better defender than Gordon.

Detroit's got a pretty easy road to the conference finals. The Bulls lack experience, leadership, and the ability to guard Billups/Hamilton.

Being at the game is more reason to show that you were biased towards the rockets. Yao commited like 11 fouls that game, 6 of which were in the 4th quarter that weren't called, and what about when they fouled utah with 1.9 seconds (or whatever it was) and he didn't even have the ball.

golden state taking the pistons? the suns? man the bandwagon has gotten huge. you understand that golden state is out next round against the jazz, right?
