Lakers. Honestly, a bad game for Kobe is a career high for starters on other NBA teams. I don’t even wanna hear about his ‘poor performances’.

but they won, and Gausi was playing good, something around 25 points yesterday game.

I’m rooting for Utah against Denver, I can’t stand the Thuggets or their fans…arrogant bastards. Especially J.R. Smith. J.R. expletive Smith.

Nuggets fans are arrogant? lolwut?

Laker fans are so ironic… man it would be hilarious if it weren’t just sad.

I went to a Nuggets-Lakers game a couple years ago in Denver when I was visiting my cousins. Me and 2 cousins were the only Laker fans in that section, surrounded by a bunch of cocky Nuggets fans. They thought they were gonna win and they were rubbing it in on us real hard when they were up by a lot, but Lakers came back to win eventually. They didn’t say a word after the game. hah.

We Laker fans aren’t arrogant, we just have high expectations for our teams given the talent that our team has. And we don’t have thugs on our team/

Spurs fan here.

Though I’m not hopeful for this year. Still, I love the team and am watching the Spurs v Mavericks. It’s my favorite pair up.

@punnipunjabi

You don’t even know how to spell “Gasol.” You know nothing about the Lakers and their fans and should thus refrain from making such asinine comments.

That’s an interesting generalization that you make about our fans. Why are we the worst? What I will give you is that Staples Center is a lot more quiet than other arenas, as the people who attend are on the wealthier side due to the costs.

The worst fanbase is probably either Boston’s, Utah’s, or Denver’s. Boston’s fanbase deserted them for around 10 years and even chanted MVP for Kobe in 06-07. Suddenly, everyone over there is a diehard fan as soon as McFail ships KG over to his old friend Ainge. Biggest bandwagoners in the league.

Utah and Denver fans are just low-class hecklers and thugs.

I know Cleveland is sort of sputtering against the Bulls right now, but the Lakers have not gotten rid of OKC easily. I think Cleveland beat LA in 6 games this year in the Finals. The Lakers might lose in the WCF to Dallas, I don’t see Denver getting that far.

Kobe put in a beauty of a 4th Quarter last night, but he needs to lean on Gasol some more. Pau was knocking down jumpers and doing some damage down low (even though Ibaka and KD were having a block party…and everybody was invited :D). Kobe was pretty bad actually in the first half, then looked like he turned back the clock, freed himself of injury.

Miami’s anemic performances have Wade mad enough to go back home to Chicago I think. Sure, Miami has cap room to sign him and bring in another big name (attractive area no doubt), but would Boozer, Bosh, or STAT make that huge a difference when the rest of the team stinks?

Boston will beat Miami in 5 games, then lose to the Magic. Hawks will get beat by the Cavs in 6 games. Cavs over Magic in 7.

Lakers over Thunder in 5, Suns over Portland in 6. Lakers over Suns in 6, Dallas over Jazz in 6. WCF all depend on Kobe’s knees.

^
If Boston beat Miami, they’ll play Cleveland, not Orlando. Hawks will play Orlando. Lakers will play the Jazz/Nuggets, and Dallas will play the Suns/Blazers.

It goes:

1/8 plays 4/5
2/7 plays 3/6

I am a Laker fan, but I have to say this…they need to play a NEAR PERFECT game to beat the Cavs in the Finals (if the Lakers do get there). PERFECT or NEAR PERFECT, or else they will NOT beat the Cavs. Kobe needs to be the Kobe of old, Gasol has to stop being a big sissy, Bynum need to quit yapping and start playing. Artest needs to play D. And Fisher…he sucks.

…after all, LeBron brings refs along with him. So it’s basically 5 vs. 8. That’s all.

@Saugus: Wow sorry can’t believe I messed that up. I’ve been a fan of this league for like 10 years. Wow facepalm Blame it on not being able to really know what’s been going on this year. I knew the format, but completely botched that.

Generalizations ftw

No thugs? Do you honestly believe that? Did you take a look at the roster?

And do you not remember how things were a few years ago? Laker fans were calling for the most absurd trades. Well some were. Most of the rest completely forgot that the Lakers existed. That’s the way LA goes.

LOL, I can’t speak for Nuggets fans, but have you ever been to a Jazz game?

lol @ Laker fan complaining about refs

Welcome to TONIGHT’S GAME BETWEEN THE DENVER NUGGETS AND UTAH JAZZ!!! TONIGHT THERE WILL BE A MORMON PARTY IN SECTION A27.

76er fans are the worst, obviously. laker fans are homers, who know nothing about any other team in the league or anything about the nba in general. Most of them don’t even care until the playoffs start.

pau gasol is a soft and yells like hes getting raped everytime he shoots in the post and he’s ****ing ugly, he has to be the ugliest player in the league after DJ mbenga.

ron artest thinks he’s dennis rodman except he cant rebound.

derek fisher takes the worst shots ever - giving him a 40% career fg%.

lamar odom is the classiest player in the league (im being sarcastic). people keep saying oh he would be an allstar if he were are a starter - HE WAS!!! stupid ass broadcasters, he was starting for years and years.

Sasha vujacic LOL he gets called for a foul for the same foul everytime acting like he can defend.

donotletshannondunk.com

the only player that I didn’t hate left (trevor ariza) so yeah i hate the lakers all around.

[The Creative Brief The 20 Ugliest NBA Players of All Time](<a href=“ThoughtDistrict.com is for sale | HugeDomains”>ThoughtDistrict.com is for sale | HugeDomains)
Wrong, these are the ugliest players. Half of them are still in the NBA.

ok they are ugly, but i don’t see them nearly as often as i see gasol’s ugly mug. it’s not just plain ugly, when you stare at him you just get disgusted. when you look at sam cassell you laugh.

@Saugus yeah I realized later that spelled Gasol wrong, hey everybody makes mistakes.

Oh man, that ugly list was hilarious.

AHH, SPURS WON LAST NIGHT!

@andrewexd:
As a Lakers fan who knows many other Lakers fans, we know tons about other teams in the league. I can tell you lots of stuff you don’t know about teams in the NBA.
Yeah sure, I’ll agree, there are times when Pau Gasol is soft. To be honest though, he goes harder than a majority of the players in the league or else he wouldn’t be considered one of the best in the league.
I don’t know which Lakers fans you are listening to who say that Lamar would be better as a starter because no true Laker fan would say that. Lamar Odom plays his best as a sixth man. Everyone who knows basketball knows that.
Sasha was never and will never be a good defensive player. That’s just how it goes. But just like every other player in the league, he isn’t going to say he fouled.
Ron Artest…why would he ever want to be Dennis Rodman? He is a better player than Rodman ever was. Artest is one of the best defenders in the league. Sure, he has an outgoing personality but that doesn’t mean he is trying to be anyone other than himself. Some people just have similar personalities.
Derek Fisher does take bad shots but in the clutch he is a beast.
And lastly, the dunk contest sucked overall this year. Even Nate Robinson was terrible. At least Lakers fans care enough to try and get their player in the dunk contest.

Just saying.

LOL, seriously?

Rodman - 7x All-Defensive First team; 2x Defensive POY
Artest - 2x All-Defensive First team; 1x Defensive POY

And let’s just ignore the fact that Rodman was one of the few greatest rebounders ever
