Yes, thanks. In the same boat and VERY surprised. I never thought much of NC state but clearly its becoming very competitive. My daughter applied to BME program, 1310 SAT, 29 ACT, 4.25 WGPA, solid extra’s including 4 years at duke TIP summer studies. Kids posting their credentials is helpful though. For her, i think she still has a shot in march and certainly in her backup, Exploratory which she can then transfer into BME. I was a UVA grad and agree…i probably couldn’t get into UVA now. the scores/expectations have gotten insane across the board. Meanwhile she was accepted into USC (with scholarship) and looks like Va Tech with a possible scholarship.
ACCEPTED!!!
??
I have been trying for the past 30 min on two web browsers and neither worked
Not working here either. Did anyone receive an email about status change? We are OOS and my son does not have an email. Just wondering if only in state decisions have been released or if there was no email alerting that decisions were up…
Finally got all the way through to where it says click here for your decision. After clicking, I’ve been waiting 10-minutes and the page still will not load!
it took over an hour but it loaded!

I’m OOS and I haven’t gotten any email either
@cinn124 So sorry!! Really nervous for my son since he considered this a safety but OOS seems to be really tough this year. I went to grad school there and graduated in 1998.
My son’s stats
He is an IB Diploma Student w/ 3.94 UW and 4.3 W
1400 SAT (700 both)
Third degree black belt, competed nationally and also the coach of the junior team
His intended major is Neuroscience so he did 1st year Biology sciences, I think…
We got I’m! I’m state 4.2 weighted 31 ACT
Leadership in marching band all 4 years
My son was accepted in engineering.
We are in state, rural county, ACT 31, SAT 1380, Class rank is 5/80. All A’s with highest level classes available. Only a couple of AP classes due to small country school. Extra curricula activities are typical, no sports
He was thrilled - NC State was his top choice but he also applied to Rice (stretch choice) - denied, UNC Chapel Hill- denied, University of Tn (legacy and backup) - accepted with big scholarship, and Clemson regular decision - still waiting
Any word on your son? Curious about acceptances to the Sports Management program. Thanks!
@jperr I understand, I also graduated from State in '92 as well and to see how competitive it has become is unbelievable but I know that your son will do well wherever her ends up. We visited UNCC yesterday and they seem to have a lot to offer and who knows he may get in regular decision.
