if not nc state any suggestions?

You are in the ballpark for admission into NC State according to the info I have seen so good luck!

agreed, you're definitely in for state, probably even to honors if you apply. you should try applying to unc-ch, it's a good reach for you and i think you have a good chance of getting in, in-state.

so you think i have a chance at chapel hill, at state do u think i can get into college of engineering

The College of Engineering won't like the C in Calc BC, but you definitely have a shot.

anyway to improve chances at college of engineering or any other engineering college suggestions

are you in state or out of state?

either way you'll probably get in. Maybe get the writing score up into the upper 500's-600ish range and you could be competitive at UNC, especially if you're instate.

you're in.

btw, where are you from? I'm in Winston.

I noticed you guys were state champs for 3 years in football....are you at Independence?

Yea I'm from Charlotte too haha. You're definately good for NC State, and you should also apply to UNC Chapel Hill because your at least 50/50 there. Have you looked at smaller schools like Elon and Furman because you could probally get some good financial aid there.

yea i am at independence in charlotte....... i haven't really thought of smaller schools tyler i guess i just wanted to go to the best engineering school i could be accepted to close to home which i assumed was nc state

O yea I go to Providence Day. If you want to do engineering, NC State is great for that. Other nearby schools with good engineering are Clemson, Georgia Tech (if you like being SMACK in the middle of Atlanta), Virginia Tech, uh I geuss Chapel Hill. I think the bigger schools generally tend to be better at engineering. Yea but GT probally has the best engineering school in the region. I hope that helps!

im trying to stay instate so i guess ill stick with ncsu

You shouldn't have any problem getting into NCSU and engineering. Apply early. UNC-A also has a program in conjunction with NCSU 2+2 engineering program. UNC-A has smaller classes and is academically challenging. Good Luck!
