I just checked the student portal. My son has the Pay AED button.
Does that mean he has gotten in?
I just checked the student portal. My son has the Pay AED button.

It states " Congratulations on your admission to NC State University and we’re happy you have decided to join the Wolfpack!
that’s awesome!! congrats to you guys!! I assume aeds will start popping up for everyone and decisions will come out tmrw? anyone else have their aed
I just happen to check last night and was in shock to see it. Does it mean decisions will be emailed out today instead of tomorrow? My son is still thinking he is not in untill he gets that email…he is in such nerves right now…he applied for Engineering CS intent. If it helps his first name starts with a D (wondering if they do alphabetical order)
I have never been able to get into MyPack - so frustrating. I’ve tried every combination lol. I know you have been waiting patiently this whole time. This deferred group had it the hardest. Happy for you and your son.
my son…which he never does…sat there crying when he saw this…he is still not convinced until he gets that email…we are getting links for scholarships etc.

Good luck to you on this…you can do this!
So happy for you and your son!! I’m ready for tomorrow to be here…. We can’t get into the portal either!!
Maybe they release AED by major…? Has anyone in Education heard? Good luck everyone!
No mine is Statistics. Crossing fingers we hear today instead of tomorrow. It’s been a lifetime.
I really want to see your son make it…as I remembered you talked about your son playing football…to me that shows discipline. If I were an admissions officer I would want him in It is so hard to do a sport and school at the same time……I have a great appreciation for it……I think at this point we are really splitting hairs on who gets in or not….
polisci/spanish w no aed yet
Congratulations to all who got in after frustrating wait after deferral. QQ, Before admission decision is out how does one gets the unity id to log into mypack portal?
Means nothing. Maybe by major and or major/alphabetical order? Do not know.
My son fell down to the ground and starting to cry last night when I showed him the AED…he will not be convinced he got in until that confirm email.
One way or another you will have a great career…I just remembered my father almost failing out of high school and later on in life received his PhD in physics. You are much further ahead in your career goals.
This is really sweet thank you!! Your son is definitely gonna do great things, i’m so happy for you guys that he got it! I would most definitely react the same as him haha
unity login should be
username: first initial, middle initial, first 6 letters of last name? not sure about the last name part since mine is four letters and I don’t have a middle name. if you go to the early action thread you could probably find a better explanation lol
password: Open up wolfpaw and find the string of numbers underneath your selected major. take the last four and add your birthday. for example: if my number was 12345678 and my birthday was 1/31, my password would be 56780131
Thank you so much!! And it has given him great discipline, teamwork, etc….
We have been Wolfpack fans our entire lives. But UNCC is a great back up too and they gave him some scholarship money so that’s great. Either way we’ll be fine. Thanks so much for your sweet words, I’m so glad your son is IN!!!
I heard about that program-some great things actually….my son would have such a hard time at UNCC because he would need to live off campus-we have been through a lot as a family and need time to heal. If that were not an issue for us I would of encouraged him to go to UNCC because their first year classes are smaller…NC States first year classes are huge…
It’s so frustrating that this still does not work for us! We have a 5-letter last name, and are OOS, so I wonder if either of those things are why it doesn’t work. More hurry up and wait I guess!
I am so happy for him! I would have lost a little bit of faith in humanity after learning about his journey here. He will do so awesome in college! Congratulations!!
