Hi,
I am actually interested in the NC State Distance Learning program. Has anyone ever tried it? Where can I get reviews for it? How are the fees? I know they have a total amount on the web, but I am curious if they have any extras I would not be aware of?
I have to suggest going to the actual campus, online is not as “acceptable” to many colleges/employers.
as far as i know it should cost the same amount as the in person learning or a bit more.
I’m planning to do their postbaccalaureate certificate in computer programming. All theirs fees should be online. I have no idea where you’d find online reviews.
Thanks for the replies, I do plan on eventually transferring to the actual school though, I just thought the online school would be a cheaper solution until then.
If you’re trying to do it at the undergraduate level, note that they only offer one degree online: the BA in Leadership in the Public Sector. You can take courses on a non-degree basis, but you’re limited to how many you can take a semester (not a full load) and you’re not eligible for most federal need-based aid because you’re not a degree-seeking student. If you would otherwise qualify for this aid, distance learning as a non-degree undergraduate student may be more expensive.
Ummmm, well then I guess I’ll just do the seated courses and do the co-op program, hopefully they’ll have online courses too. Thanks.
