NC State Early Action for Fall 2022 Admission

I guess that’s great but I’m not celebrating yet. :crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers::crossed_fingers:

Anyone think decisions will come out tomorrow!? Twin mom here stressing out!

I’m not sure that email thing works. I didn’t get a bounce back when I put in my son’s info…. But I didn’t get one when I put in mine, either. Pretty sure I haven’t been accepted :joy::joy:

I’m hoping so! Very stressed too but wondering if anyone’s withdraw button will go away today. Mines still there as of this AM.

That’s funny! Didn’t work for me either but I saw that an International student got accepted yesterday(!!) for Mechanical Engineering so maybe it’s a sign decisions are coming this week…

Has anyone called and asked if they are releasing tomorrow? I think they would tell us since we’re so close!

there My spelling is not indicative of their academic record!

I called and they told me that it will NOT be released tomorrow. But closer to the 30th

Ah man…

I agree. It is not fair because of scholarships. There are a few scholarships who had a deadline of Dec 31.

I find it strange that they said that considering that the release on the second to last Friday of January has been a reoccurring thing for the past couple of EA admissions cycles. Confused and anxious lol

Could it be too much of a stretch to wonder if they could be just saying that? I feel like there are lots of cases where schools claim to release on a certain date and they come out way earlier.

I agree. But then again I was not talking to the person who is in charge of releasing info either. But that is what the admissions office told me. Feel free to call as well. If they tell you something else, could you post?

Yes, of course, I’m actually a student applying rather than a parent or anything so this whole process is especially nerve-wracking. Wishing everyone the best of luck.

thanks and good luck! As I posted earlier there are many different pathst to your career. My father almost failed out of high school yet went on to get his PhD in plasma physics.

I’m unsure if certain majors are more competitive than others but I applied as an art studies major so I’m hoping I will maybe have a higher chance than per se the Stem majors offered at state. Who really knows at this point they could be picking out of a hat for all we know lol

I used to work at the admissions office for the UNC Pharm department. They had a formula to caculate a score. If the score is high enough, then they move to the next process of admissions. If you think about it, there are thousands of students applying and only so many admissions officer. It is physically impoassible for them to sniff through all the applications. There has to be some sore of funnel through this process.
