NC State Fall 2022 Admission - Class of 2026

Yes, the SC USC is aware of their identity crisis hence the #UofSC on their site.

Equally difficult to navigate in SC and NC is the reference to “Carolina” - you just need to visually observe the colors they are wearing (garnet or light blue) and which side of the border you are on.

SO they took away the withdraw button!! Doest that mean something???

I went to University of South Carolina and I can assure you we called it USC.

@jml571 me too! My oldest goes to Chapel Hill and that’s what I call it “Chapel Hill”. I can’t bring myself to call it Carolina.

that was back in the day…this is recent. listen, i don’t go or i’m not a carolinan…just know what they said and what their website shows.

old habits die hard

I really have no skin in the game…i was just commenting that the school itself changed its “nickname” - but everyone can call it what they want…no issues.

Ha!! I call it Chapel Hill as well!!
When I first moved to NC, I was so confused about everyone using “Carolina” to refer to a school OTHER than USC (or UofSC–blech!!)

we just checked my son’s mypack portal and it has changed.

What is the indication that you got in again? Cannot remember.

I

what changed if you don’t mind me asking?

Within myPack portal, click on Student Accounts tile. On the left you will see a tab for Advance Enrollment Deposit. If you click on it, it will take you to a new screen that says “Congrats…”

How do you get into MyPack portal. Did the FI, MI, Last Name work for you? It has never worked for me.

Yes, it did work but we know others who it didn’t work for, and they got in EA.

I just checked the student portal. My son has the Pay AED button.

Does that mean he has gotten in? Does that mean decisions come out tomorrow?

I have to be honest…based on what I read on this thread…I think everybody should be admitted…some amazing stats….I know if I tried to apply based on my stats from high school…I would not be admitted at all…
