NCampus v SCampus

After reading some threads, we came across "north campus" & "south campus" - what does that mean - or indicate?

North campus is home to the humanities majors. South campus is home to the sciences

North campus --> social science and humanities majors (poli sci, history, sociology, etc.)

South campus --> physical science/engineer majors

I think psychology falls somewhere in between. Basically the layout of the campus follows this "rivalry" as well. Most of the social science classes are located on the north side of campus (the buildings are also better looking) whereas the science/math classes are on the south campus.

I loved the "Brokeback Mountain" parody of south campus vs. north campus during this year's Spring Sing.

north campus - liberal arts

south campus - sciences

someone else can be more specific

south campus > north campus

North campus >>>>> South campus.

So there.

South Campus > North Campus.

You're wrong too, Flopsy.

But that's ok. I'm totally outnumbered on CC, methinks.

North campus >>>>> South campus.

:)

No.

[quote]

liberal arts pl.n.

flopsy owns.

South Campus YESH. :)

south campus >>>>>>>>>>> monkey feces > north campus

I win

As a hybrid North Campus/South Campuser... I can definitely say that

North Campus >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> South Campus

This North-South campus this is dumb, even if it is only for fun. Some people take it wayyy too far, haha.

point being: who the hell cares?

yea I know...arguing about this stupid thing is well stupid....I think we should realize that we are all part of the UCLA community and shouldn't let petty differences come between us

that being said

south campus >>>>>>>>>>>>>> michael moore >>>>>>>>>>>> north campus

You all have convinced me to switch to the South campus. Really, who can compete with "sc >>>>>> nc, hells yes!". I think now I'm going to be a rocket scientist. Cause like, who needs social sciences in space??? I mean come on! Once all the Star Wars care bears attack Earth (you know they are all only pretending to be nice), North campus folks will be completely useless. So I better start preparing myself to join up with the South campus folks now. And the first thing I'll need to do is find out the technical name for the Star Wars care bears. Cause they'll stone you over there for not knowing that kind of thing. And not just little stones. Big ones. From the pretty North campus buildings. That exploded. Because the Star Wars care bears attacked them. First. Because we weren't worthy.

...Or not. ;) NC >>>> SC!

(I seriously have too much free time...When does school start???)

You could actually find the Brokeback Mountain parody on YouTube.com. Here's the link to Brokeback Fountain: http://youtube.com/watch?v=uB2ekZziZwQ . Enjoy.

Bruintastic- Oh, just you wait. You resist now...but you will be sucked in and the pretend hatred will consume your life.

Not really. But play! It's teh fun!

I think I saw myself in that Brokeback Fountain video.
