I was recently told that after the initial FA application during high school, the NCP will not be asked for income information in subsequent years (soph, junior,) senior). Divorced families who have gone through the CSS Profile process, please let me know. Thank you.

That may depend on the particular school.
It does depend upon the schools. Some schools do not require CSS PROFILE after freshman year. However, if fin aid has been set at a certain level based on NCP’s financials, and they change for the worse, it also might be to the benefit of a student to have the situation reassessed even if not required.
It is up to the school. One of my kid’s schools did not require the NPC form after freshman year, but they still wanted the NPC parent (and stepparent’s) tax returns for sophomore year.
