Have you tried using Google?
How about google the school name and “NCP waiver form” or poke around each school’s web site? It’s all anyone here will do.
I thought maybe some people on here would know more about the waiver than google could tell me. But I will try google, thanks.
I emailed Syracuse and a few other schools, and they have explained the process. Thank you!
Each school should tell you whether they require the non-custodial parent Profile right on the financial aid section of their website. If the school requires this, then you will need to request a waiver if you think it’s not possible to get this done. Keep in mind, the schools have varying requirements for getting the NCP waiver. Do what each school tells you to do.
If I’m not mistaken, all of the schools on your list require the NCP form. You will need to get the waiver info…from each school.
And it’s not just a form…the schools will require some type of documentation of the breach with your non-custodial parent that requires a waiver. This usually needs to be proved by a third party who is not a relative or family friend. Someone like a counselor, clergyman, or school guidance person.
I have an NCP statement from a clergyman that has been notarized and signed. In order to request a waiver, should I email the schools? Thank you!
Yes, you will need to do that.
