NCSSM APPLICANT CHANCES

I’m currently in the process of applying to NCSSM. This is a crazy year for applications (they are receiving a ton, especially from my district). I was wondering what you guys think my chances are?
SAT score: 1940 (680 math, 630 CR, 630 writing)
Grades: all A’s except for a 91 in Earth Environmental Science (took it in the 7th grade) and a 90 in NCVPS Spanish 1.
Class Rank: 44 out of 309.
GPA: 4.3523
Clubs: Prom Committee, Student Government, Executive Student Government, School Improvement Team, Mock Trial, Science Olympiad, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Key Club
Sports: I participated in Indoor Track and Field my freshman year, but could not this year due to an injury sustained last year.
I also went to state level MathCounts which is held at NCSSM and they keep a record of that, as well as placed well at the Regional Science Olympiad tournament held last year.

Hello @THSSTUDENT022799‌ I’m also applying this year, my district is 7. Overall your application seems very strong! Your SAT score is solid (especially in math) and your extracurriculars are diverse but at the same time focused on math and science (also the student government position helps a lot). Your schedule isn’t very full of APs but your early start in core classes and high levels will probably more than make up for it! I think you have a good shot! What’s your district?

@Kanra173‌ I’m not sure. I think my district is 6? Usually my school doesn’t allow you to take any AP classes your freshman year, so that is why I have only had one. I signed up for two this year but due to a schedule conflict I was only placed in one (unfortunately for my application). I feel like my application is solid, I just wanted a little reassurance. I wish you the best of luck with your application!

OMG I took Spanish 1 online in eighth grade!!! It was torture! So impossible- I got a 93. But in my Span 2 class I was way ahead
